The Spinning Sound Effects Carousel, model 427, is an educational toy designed for use by children with communication or cognitive disabilities. The spinning unit features pre-recorded sound effects that are played when the child presses one of the 12 sides of the toy. The bottom tier has six switch plates with picture frames attached with Velcro. The top tier has an additional six switches with picture frames. The sound effects include a motorcycle, police car, race car, truck, jets, birds, lightning, ocean, dolphins, boat, helicopter, and plane. The unit can be played with as a matching game, with the pictures removed from the frames and matched to the sounds. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (not included). DIMENSIONS: 24 x 9 inches. The frames are 2 x 2 inches.
