The Bobbsey is an adult tricycle with side-by-side seating for two people designed for use by individuals with balance, neurological, or physical disabilities. This cycle has a frame of 12-gauge welded and reinforced beam with heavy duty axle mounts and ball bearings, and it has two wheels in the rear and one independent smaller front wheel that is used for steering with a single handlebar. This cycle has dual and fully independent, twin 3-speed transmissions that offer independent pedaling, enabling two riders to pedal, one rider to pedal while the other rests, or one rider to pedal alone. The Bobsey includes high back tractor seats with armrests, front and rear chrome fenders, and a basket located behind the seats. OPTIONS: Sun top. BRAKES: Front drum brake and two rear coaster brakes. WHEELS: 24-inch diameter rear wheels and a 20-inch diameter front wheel. All wheels are made of steel and have a .875-inch solid steel machined axle and 11-gauge spokes. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. Fits users with heights ranging from 56 to 73 inches.
