Picture of EXCELERATOR HANDCYCLE The Excelerator Handcycle is a hand propelled cycle for adults with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Capable of reaching speeds up to 30 miles per hour (mph), this three-wheeled, hand-crank cycle features stable maneuverability and is a way to exercise or cross-train. Super-7 shifters are positioned for easy accessibility and the Sachs Super-7 hub, with reverse braking, lets the user back up without taking his/her hands off the handles to stop or find a neutral zone. A fully-adjustable chain tension idler lets the rider adjust the crank height without having to add or remove chain links. Made with oval-tube 4130 Chrome-moly steel frame construction, the cycle also features adjustable seat and back heights, dual adjustable footrests with foot straps, and performance wheels with either cruiser or knobby tires. OPTIONS: Helmet, horizontal handles, quad cuffs and gloves, chest security strap, parking brake, and others. DIMENSIONS: The wheels are 26 inches.
