« Previous Product Next Product »The Compact TTY is a pocket-sized telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD or TT). This device folds in half to fit in a purse, pocket, or briefcase so it is completely portable. Standard features include an 80-character, 2-line LCD display with backlight; a 57-key, 4-row keyboard with easy-touch keys; the TDD Announcer, which is a voice that alerts hearing people to text telephone calls; and built-in, real-time clock and date functions. The 8k memory allows the user to save and send messages and store phone numbers and TDD conversations. This TDD also has editing capabilities. TELECOMMUNICATIONS: Baudot (TDD standard) code at 45.5 baud; international code at 50 baud; optional ASCII code at either 300 or 110 baud; high/normal sensitivity control. OPTIONS: Available extras include an Option Package (ASCII code and 32k memory, $60) and a soft carrying case ($16.95). POWER: Runs for approximately 7 to 10 hours on the batteries; rechargeable batteries and AC adapter included. DIMENSIONS: 8.8 x 3.9 x 1.2 inches. COLOR: Keyboards come in blue, pink/raspberry, or gray. WARRANTY: One year limited warranty. An extended one or two year warranty is optional..
