Picture of SHOPRIDER SPRINTER XL3 DELUXE  (MODEL 778XL) The Shoprider Sprinter XL3 Deluxe, model 778XL, is a heavy-duty three-wheeled scooter designed for indoor or outdoor use by individuals with mobility or neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. The unit includes a headlight, a front bumper, and a front wicker basket. FRAME (LxWxH): The overall dimensions are 51 x 28 x 34 to 43 inches. The wheelbase is 45 x 27 inches with a ground clearance of 4 inches. The turning radius is 59 inches. CONTROLS: Controls are mounted on an adjustable Delta-style tiller. RWD: Rear-wheel drive. SEAT (WxDxH): 22 x 18 x 23 to 27 inches. The back height is 19 inches. The padded, deluxecaptain's seat has a headrest. ARMRESTS: Adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. WHEELS: The two rear drive wheels have 12-inch tires. OPTIONS: Sun shade, rear view mirror, front mesh basket, rear wire basket, cane holder, walker holder, armrest carrying bag, and more. POWER: Uses two 12-volt batteries. SPEEDS: 5.7 miles per hour with a travel range of up to 25 miles per battery charge and a climbing angle of 8 degrees. CAPACITY: 500 pounds. WEIGHT: The base weighs 190 pounds without batteries. The batteries weigh 23 pounds each. The seat weighs 34 pounds.
