Picture of LIBERTY GLUCOSE METER The Liberty Glucose Meter is a voice output glucose analyzer designed for use by seniors or individuals with diabetes who are blind or have low vision. This no-coding unit allows the user to test blood glucose using alternate sites such as a fingertip or forearm, with a minimum 0.5-microliter blood sample. It provides glucose readings in as little as four seconds. Results appear on a large display as well as being spoken. The unit has a 500-test result memory with date and time, and 7-, 14- and 30-day averaging. There are four testing reminder alarms and audible fill detection. The unit has non-slip strips for holding. It can operate in a temperature range of 50 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and in altitudes less than 10,150 feet. Results can be downloaded to a computer. DIMENSIONS: 3.44 x 2.16 x 0.69 inches. WEIGHT: 1.66 ounces.
