These maps of the United States are inexpensive and consumable, so teachers can mark them appropriately for the lessons of the day. Another map is an overview map which depicts all of North America including Greenland, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, the continental U.S., Mexico, the West Indies and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The other maps are regional sections of the United States broken into Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii. Each map has an insert which shows the region's location in relation to the continental U.S. Regional maps are the same scale in relation to each other. On all maps, states are outlined with a dotted line, countries are outlined with a single solid line, and country borders are depicted with a double solid line.
