The Hearit SE, model 500, is an auditory training activity designed for use with individuals with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or hearing or auditory processing disabilities. This tool consists of a microphone unit and headset. The device is used for individual training therapy to help students with articulation difficulties with self-monitoring and improved production of sounds. The instrument can also be used independently by a student reading text aloud for better comprehension or in the classroom to improve attention skills. POWER: Uses two double-A alkaline batteries for approximately 220 hours. WEIGHT: 115 grams.
