(Verified 7/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Tracker Disc is a visual training activity designed for use with children with vision and neurological disabilities. This device trains children to visual track direction and to perceive depth. A row of ten bright yellow lights flashes in sequence, accompanied by an attention-getting tone. The disc on which the lights are mounted can be rotated to change the direction of the lights and the unit can be tilted for depth perception training. The rate at which the lights flash can be adjusted from one to five per second. The unit can be mounte on a wall or placed on a lapboard or table and the height of the disc can be adjusted by moving the screws on the unit's legs. Model 1158 and 1158-8 offers switch-activated motor-driven rotation and model 1159 uses manual rotation of the disc. Model 1158 is equipped with a quarter-inch jack and model 1158-8 has a 1/8-inch jack.
