Touch! is a cause and effect, visual perception, and touch training program designed for use by children with learning or cognitive disabilities. The program is designed to help children develop visual perception skills along with touch or mouse skills. In this program, the student has to touch or click on colorful shapes to see and hear a reward. The program has three configurable games: touch the shapes or all the shapes; touch the shape when it peeps from behind the edge of the computer screen for a fixed length of time; or touch the correct shape to discriminate a particular shape or color. The sound rewards are tailored to the shape, with four beats for a square, three beats for a triangle, five beats for a star, and bubbly music for a circle. COMPATIBILITY: For IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows operating system, CD-ROM drive, and touchscreen monitor.
