Ott-Lite VisionSaver Lamps are low vision lights designed for use by individuals with visual disabilities. These lamps use full-light-spectrum bulbs that contain a blend of phosphors formulated to replicate natural daylight. For many persons with low vision, VisionSaver bulbs produce high color rendering, enhanced contrast, and good visual acuity with less glare. The Ott-Lite VisionSaver 13-watt bulb is comparable in brightness to a 75-watt incandescent bulb, and the 18-watt bulb is comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. Both bulbs are rated to last 10,000 hours. They remain cool to the touch while in use. Ott-Lite VisionSaver lamps using the 13-watt bulb include the Portable Lamp, model L13331; the Ergo Desk Lamp, model L13337; and the Portable Magnifier Lamp, model L13338. Ott-Lite lamps using the 18-watt bulb include the Design Pro Floor Lamp, model 18330; the Desk Organizer Lamp, model 18332; the Crane Lamp, model 18336; and the Clamp-On Lamp, model 18536. OPTIONS: 13-watt and 18-watt replacement tubes.
