The Clarity Amplified Telephone with Talk Back Numbers, model JV35, is a large button amplifier telephone designed for use by people with fine motor or upper extremity disabilities or who are hard of hearing or have low vision. This phone amplifies incoming sound up to 37 decibels (dB) and offers adjustable ringer levels up to 95 dB. The phone features Clarity Power technology which makes words louder, clearer and easy to understand. Other features include large black buttons with white and Braille labels, audible speaking of each number as it is dialed, speed dial buttons that can speak the name of the person or organization that that the button is programmed to call, bright visual ring indicator, three programmable one-touch emergency buttons with Braille characters, and 10 memory buttons. It also has a battery backup for use in the event of a power outage. The handset is hearing aid T-coil compatible, and the phone can be desk- or wall-mounted. POWER: The base is powered by an AC adapter; battery backup uses 4 AA alkaline non-rechargeable batteries (not included). DIMENSIONS (DxWxH): The base is 9.5 x 7 x 3.25 inches. WEIGHT: 2.52 pounds.
