Treehouse is a language and math tutorial program that is designed to encourage creativity, exploration, deductive reasoning and strategic thinking for students with a developmental or physical disability. Students explore the hideaway by clicking on objects which sometimes lead into deeper educational game levels of the program. The Sentence Theater focuses on sentence structure; several activities are centered around music and the instruments of an orchestra. Others concentrate on math, money, and place value. The Teacher's Guide features lesson ideas which expand on several subjects, including math, language arts, science and music. This program is TouchWindow compatible for students with physical disabilities. It is available on diskette individually ($59.95), or in Lab Packs for five computers ($119.95). COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh, or DOS IBM or compatible. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Macintosh: System 6.0.7 or higher; 2 MB RAM for monochrome, 4MB for color (For system 7.0, 4 MB for monochrome, 5 MB for color); hard disk. Optional: TouchWindow, printer. For IBM/DOS: DOS 3.0 or higher; 640K; EGA, VGA or MCGA; hard disk; 3.5 inch disk drive. Optional: TouchWindow, printer, sound card.
