« Previous Product Next Product »Away We Ride is a cognitive skills tutorial program designed for use by young children through pre-teens with cognitive or multiple disabilities. This CD-ROM program offers six familiar songs related to transportation, including "Down by the Station," "Daisy, Daisy," and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," for learning transportation concepts through activities such as finding the correct picture, sound, associated object, or word. A cause and effect option and a choice of the number of onscreen pictures are also available. The program can be accessed with a mouse, a single switch, touch screen, or Intellikeys (see separate entry). COMPATIBILITY: The hybrid CD-ROM offers versions for use on Macintosh and IBM and compatible computers. Individual Windows and Macintosh versions are also available on diskette. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The Macintosh version requires a 68040 processor or a Power PC, a CD-ROM drive, and 8 to 16 megabytes (MB) RAM. The IBM version requires Windows 95/98, 32 MB RAM, CD-ROM drive, SVGA monitor, sound card, and speakers. The Macintosh version on diskette requires an LC III or faster processor, 8 MB RAM, a 256-color monitor, and System 7. The Windows version on diskette requires Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 or 98, 16 to 32 MB RAM, a SVGA monitor, sound card, and speakers. OPTIONS: A set of four Intellikeys overlays is available.
