Picture of STROKE FOR STROKE COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE The Stroke for Stroke Communication Software is a communicator software package designed for use by individuals with speech impairments or limited typing ability or those affected by a stroke. The software may also be helpful for individuals with Lou Gehrig’s (ASL), Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis (MS). or other neurological disabilities or brain injuries. This program can be used to assist with face-to-face communications and written communications where ability to speak, type, or write is limited, and includes speech-generating software. The system is designed to be used exclusively with a mouse; however, no typing skills or keyboard are required. It can also be used with an eye-gaze or head-tracking devices and touch screens. A simple click of the mouse will let the user build custom messages that can be used to communicate with others. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The system is designed to run on Microsoft Windows, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems (32 or 64-bit).
