(Verified 06/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Blue Wave Toileting System is a height adjustable commode system designed for use by children and small adults with mobility disabilities. The system is available in small basic and complete models and large basic and complete systems with a choice of a low or high back. The basic systems include the seat, a small deflector, armrests, a hip strap, mounting bar, back, chest strap, head blocks, frame with locking casters, and removable commode pan. The complete systems include the same items as the basic system, plus an anterior support, the footboard with foot straps, and an abductor. All models are height adjustable and can be used over the toilet or as a self-contained commode. A quick trigger release allows removal and replacement of the interchangeable high and low backs. OPTIONS: Options for upgrading the small system include the anterior support, the adbductor, the footboard, and the small back. Options for the large system include the large low or high back, the anterior support, the abductor, and the footboard. DIMENSIONS: The frame width on all models is 20.5 inches, the seat height above the floor adjusts from 7 to 20 inches, and the clearance to the floor is 19 inches. The seat on the small models is 12 inches wide and 9 or 11 inches deep; the seat on the seat on the large models is 16 inches wide and 11.5 or 13.75 inches deep. The back height on the small model is 24 inches, the low back on the large model is 18 inches high, and the high back is 34 inches tall. The back angle on both models adjusts to 85, 95, or 105 degrees. The armrest height on the small models is 5.5 inches and 7 inches on the large models. The casters are 3 inches in diameter. COLOR: White with blue back upholstery and straps. CAPACITY: All models have a capacity of 180 pounds.
