« Previous Product Next Product »WebAdapt2Me is a large print and voice output Web browser and key modificaition program designed for use by individuals with visual, cognitive, or upper extremity disabilities. This program enlarges text, reduces visual clutter, reads Web page content aloud, and automatically adjusts keyboard sensitivity to the user's typing style. It manipulates Web pages without requiring Web developers to rewrite or change Web site content. The program can magnify everything on a Web page up to 250 percent, expand the space between lines of text, remove distracting backgrounds and animation, present text using high contrast colors, reformat pages into a single column, and read text aloud. This program can support English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. For users with hand-movement disabilities, including those with tremors, arthritis, or who have had a stroke, the program's keyboard utility samples typing, detects errors such as holding keys down too long or double-clicking letters, and automatically adjusts the keyboard sensitivity to accommodate the user's typing style. Magnification preferences can also help people with hand-movement limitations navigate the Internet by making it easier to select and use browser controls. The program can be launched in a standard Web browser. Because preferences can be preset and stored on a server, users can view Web pages with their individual preferences from any computer that has the software installed. These preferences can be saved and used from session to session. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 500 MegaHertz (MHz) processor; 125 megabytes (MB) memory; 10 MB of available hard disk space (284 MB is required for Speak Text support); SVGA 800x600 or higher display; Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP operating system; Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher; external or built-in speakers or headphones for Speak Text; Mouse Keys support keyboard with separate keypad on right side for Mouse Keys.
