The handset has a bone conduction earpiece that uses vibrations to transmit sound, which may help people with conductive hearing loss to hear phone conversations more easily, and may also be helpful for people working in noisy environments. Other features include talking caller ID capacity, a talking keypad that announces what button the user has pressed on the base or handset, and a talking phone book that announces previously programmed names and numbers when they are retrieved. The phone uses 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for security and to reduce interference. It has talk and ringer volume control for talk and ringer. It includes a base unit and handset; a handset belt clip is included. DIMENSIONS (HxDxW) 3.4 x 7 x 8 inches. WEIGHT: 2.8 pounds. COLOR: Black.
