Picture of EZ PUTTING AID The EZ Putting Aid is a golf accessory designed for use by individuals with spinal cord or brain injury or severe physical disabilties. Intended for wheelchair users with limited or no hand function but with limited movement of one arm, the unit cand be used on the left or right side and mounts on the wheelchair arm with the two included Velcro straps. Once the device is mounted, the user pushes or pulls the swing handle with the wrist, arm, or hand to perform the putt. As the handle is moved, the section going to the putter rotates inside the stationary sleeve on the chair arm, allowing a smooth stroke. The user releases the handle and gravity creates the swing by pulling the putter into the ball. The distance of the putter from the ball determines the distance of the putt. Users who have sufficient grip may choose to completely control the swing by not releasing the handle. The Putting Aid is designed for use on flat surfaces, including putting mats, carpeted areas with putting cups, and practice putting greens. It is useful for putting tournaments and it can also be used to putt a standard tennis ball through specially designed Self-Standing Goals (sold separately). The unit requires limited assembly and stores easily when the putter is removed.
