(Verified 5/2001) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Tumble Forms LifeSeat, model PC 464A, is a car seat for children with special needs designed especially for transportation in emergency medical vehicles. The seat is suitable for children up to 48 inches tall, and can be secured either to the captain's chair in an ambulance or to an ambulance stretcher. There are 3 points of attachment to the vehicle for the restraint system with a tether strap. The seat's harness includes hip straps, shoulder straps, and a chest strap. These harness straps are color coded red, green and yellow for quick identification by the technician securing the patient. The LifeSeat is designed without seams to facilitate cleaning and prevent transmission of infectious diseases. The Tumble Forms vinyl covering is impervious to all body fluids. The seat includes a neckbrace which can be used to keep the child's head in midline. CAPACITY: 60 pounds.
