--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 5/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Travel Chair is a push-type wheelchair or stroller, high chair and car seat in one unit. As a push-type wheelchair or stroller, the extendible front casters and long-wearing tires provide a smooth ride over rough ground. It is a one-piece system which is easy to get in and out of a car since the rear wheels retract under the seat, eliminating the need to separate the base from the back and seat. For car travel, the chair fits on the passenger seat, secured by a lap belt around the chair frame and a three-point harness for the child. When an optional tray is added to the seating unit, the Travel Chair becomes a high chair for school work or play activities. The seat is angle adjustable to 12 degrees (upright), 23 degrees (stroller), 34 degrees (recliner) or 50 degrees (car seat). STANDARD EQUIPMENT: Adjustable height footrests with molded vacuum design and ankle straps; foot-operated wheel locks; welded tubular steel and chrome-plated frame; and microcellular tires. OPTIONS: Include, but are not limited to, clear or opaque tray; height/angle adjustable padded arms; one or three-piece hardback system; adduction and trunk support pads; abductors; shoulder harness; lap belt; perineal belt; bracketed headrests; headrest with adjustable width pillows; individually adjustable footrest; carrying bag; and seat wedges to reduce seat angle. USER CAPACITY: 15 to 45 pounds, 30 to 48 inches maximum height for model 6302; 25 to 90 pounds, 36 to 54 inches maximum height for model 6332. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): Overall measurements of Model 6302 are 17 x 31 1/2 x 42 1/2 inches; Model 6332 is 20 x 33 3/8 x 42.5 inches. Seat dimensions are 12 inches wide without trunk supports (model 6302) or 15 inches wide (model 6302); seat depth with 3 inch hardback is 7 to 16 inches for both models, seat depth with 6 inch hardback is 4 to 16 inches for both models. Back Height (with hardback) is 4 to 30 inches. WHEELS: 8-inch rear wheels. CASTERS: 5-inch front casters. WEIGHT: 31 pounds (model 6302), or 33 pounds (model 6332).
