Med-Time Automatic Pill Dispenser is an audible medication reminder designed for use by individuals who have memory or cognitive disabilities, or who are blind or have low vision. The unit has two trays with 28 compartments each that hold pills of various shapes and sizes, and it can be programmed to remind and dispense medications and vitamins from one to four times daily. When the alarm sounds, the trays rotate into position and make the appropriate pills available. Tilting the tray dispenses the pills. Trays can be pre-filled and locked. The system comes with two medication trays, one dust cover, a dosage template set, and two keys. The unit may be purchased as a stand-alone device or integrated with American Medical Alert Corporation's VoiceCare or PERS Buddy medical monitors (see entries). POWER: Uses batteries (included).
