Picture of SPECTACLE BINOCULARS (MODELS 4090, 4090/02, & 4090/03) Spectacle Binoculars are binocular magnifiers designed for use by persons with low vision. Spectacle Binoculars have two pairs of lenses on an eyeglass frame, with the outer pair mounted in front of the inner pair. Turning a wheel adjusts the focus by changing the distance between the inner and outer pairs. Spectacle binoculars allow hands-free viewing of sports events, television, movies, and theater. Model 4090 has 2x magnification, tinted lenses, and a far-view focal distance. Model 4090/02 has 2x magnification, clear lenses, and a far-view focal distance. Model 4090/03 has 1.5x magnification, clear lenses, and a near-view focal distance. All lenses are shatter-resistant. A protective eyeglass case is included.
