--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Table Magnifier Lamp is a magnifying lens with light designed for use by individuals with low vision. This magnifier features precision-ground lens made of crown optical glass for near-zero light refraction and dispersion. The lens has the power of three diopters to make objects appear 75 percent larger. Another feature is a 22-watt circleline fluorescent tube that casts a circle of white light. The lens is mounted on a free-standing floating arm system of counterbalancing springs and joints for instant adjustment to any position or direction. OPTIONS: An additional lens is available for use with the standard lens to enlarge up to 275 percent. DIMENSIONS: The arm reach is 28 inches and the frame is 21.5 inches high. The lens measures 5 inches in diameter. COLOR: Black or white.
