The Topaz Desktop Video Magnifier is designed for use by individuals with low vision. The device magnifies objects and printed matter from 2 to 70 times the actual size on a 19-inch monitor. The camera is forward-mounted and a laser pointer helps position the item on the table. The system is available with a 17-inch or 19-inch LCD screen; a 15-inch or 17-inch CRT monitor; or in a camera-only model. All models have user-selectable screen color modes: full color; black on white; enhanced black on white; inverted white on black; yellow text on blue; or blue text on yellow. Foreground and background colors can be customized for a total of 28 color combinations. DIMENSIONS: The forward-mounted camera is a 8.9 inches above the viewing table.
