Affinity Basic and Affinity Basic VGA are desktop video magnifiers designed for use by individuals with low vision. This CCTV consists of a base unit with a 60 hertz (Hz) CCD camera above a reading tray. The base unit can be connected to a television monitor (not included) in either an in-line or side-by-side configuration. Affinity Basic VGA can also be connected to a VGA computer monitor. Documents placed on the reading tray can be viewed in color or black and white, with magnification ranging from 2.8 times original size up to 57 times original size depending on monitor size. Other features include light emitting diode (LED) illumination of the reading tray; two modes of auto focus, continuous auto-focus and one-touch instant focus; photo and text modes with contrast modulator and choice of various background/foreground color combinations in text mode; choice of positive or negative text mode; shadow mask and underlining for reading. OPTIONS: Second camera available with switch-screen function.
