--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 07/94) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Brunswick Hospital Cognitive Assessment and Training is a set of programs designed to assess and treat cognitive deficits. Two modules are currently available. Module 1, Attention/Selective Attention features exercises that measure the user's ability to attend to one, two or multiple stimuli over a four minute period. In training mode, the therapist can control the program, including stimulus size, display time, rate of presentation, length of each trial, type of stimulus (box or graphic), and visual feedback and auditory prompts. Module 2, Visual Discrimination/Memory, features six programs with gradually increasing levels of difficulty. Assessments can be done for geometric shapes, simple pictures, colors or letters. In the training mode the therapist can control several parameters and options. Both Modules provide exercises that can be operated with either the space bar or a single switch. Both provide "Patient Data Screens" that let the users of the program see their own progress. The therapist can also collect, print and store data. Each module is $125.00. The two modules purchased together are $200.00. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II computers.
