---DO IT YOURSELF ENTRY --- PURPOSE: To assist children with cognitive or learning disabilities with word recognition. Consonant-vowel-consonat (CVC) words were color-coded with green for go as the initial consonant (where to start reading a word) and red for stop with the final consonant to end the word.
