------- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Adapted coat for easier dressing. The side seams of a purchased coat are opened as far as the cuffs, which are left intact. Matching bias tape is sewn to the opened seams, then large snaps are added to the seams. The coat can be easily unsnapped to fold to the back of the wheelchair when going in and out of buildings.
