--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Easy Care Pet Feeder is designed for use by individuals with blindness, low vision, or mobility disabilities. This unit consists of a frame with a platform mounted to it. Pet food and water bowls are placed on the platform, which includes a containment unit to prevent spillage, and the platform is raised to a comfortable height for the user to fill the bowls without stooping, bending, or stretching. Once the bowls are filled, the platform is lowered to the optimum height for the comfort of the pet. The frame is equipped with a scale to enable the heights to be set and auditory and visual alarms signal the platform's arrival at the desired setting. The unit is also equipped with an automatic stop switch that activates when the platform arrives at the top of the unit. The unit is available with a choice of a hand crank or an electric motor to raise and lower the platform.
