--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 05/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Computerized direct selection communicator controlled by eye movement, with no physical contact. Keyboard has 60 keys arranged around a central camera lens. Automatically focusing camera tracks user's eye, user looks at desired key, gazing at light in center for 1/2 to 3 seconds (user adjustable time span) until light brightens to signify computer acceptance of entry. Entries appear on two line, 80 character LED display below keyboard. RS-232C Serial Computer port permits use with other computers and printers such as Apple II or IBM PC. Can be mounted on powered wheelchair and operated using wheelchair battery. Interchangeable keyboard panels: alphabetically organized keyboard, QUERTY keyboard, Picture Based keyboard, various personal computer keyboards (e.g. IBM PC and Apple IIe). Dimensions: 9 inches high, 23 inches wide, 9 inches deep, weight 15 pounds, keyboard size 11 1/4 inches by 23 inches. Power requirements 120 VAC, 1/2 AMP. Options: speech synthesizer, printer, external remote display, microcomputer keyboard emulation.
