Aesop is a voice output keyboard interface designed for use by individuals with blindness or low vision. Designed to aid users with vision disabilities in learning touch typing, the unit is connected to a PS/2 standard computer keyboard and speaks each letter as it is typed in a digitized human-quality mail voice. Features include calculation of typing speed up to 99 words per minute, adjustable volume via the keyboard, and headphone or internal speaker output. POWER: Uses a 9-volt battery or alternating current (AC) adaptor. DIMENSIONS: 65 x 110 x 28 millimeters. WEIGHT: 210 grams, including battery.
