The JB-3 Leg Bag Emptier is designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury, severe physical or neurological disabilities, or who use catheters due to urinary incontinence. This system features a patented valve design for ease of activation to manually drain urinary leg bags. Attachment for use requires no wheelchair modifications, and only two pounds of pull force empties a 750 mililiter (ml) leg bag in less than 20 seconds. This system eliminates body fluid contact, so no sanitizing is necessary between users or uses. This emptier can be suspended by the drain tubing, or by the included C bracket. The C bracket can be attached around the ankle with the soft Velcro strap or attached to the wheelchair with the included plastic zip ties. The system works with all leg bags using latex or flexible drain tubing and includes the valve, drain tubing, C bracket, retaining washers, barbed tubing connector, mounting straps, and a detailed 14-page instruction booklet. OPTIONS: Replacement C bracket, retaining washers, and drainage tubing are available. DIMENSIONS: The included tubing is five feet long; the optional replacement tubing is 10 feet long. The standard cable length is 36 inches. Custom lengths can be ordered at no additional cost. WARRANTY: The JB-3 comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee.
