Picture of FAMILY FIRST MEDICAL ALARM SYSTEM The Family First Medical Alarm System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with disabilities who are at risk for medical emergencies. The standard system includes a base console and interchangeable emergency responding buttons that can be worn on the user's wrist or around the neck. Pressing a button on the console or remote button initiates live two-way voice communication with the monitoring center, which will follow up by calling emergency services and/or contacts and numbers on the user's customized list. Equipment is checked automatically every 30 days. OPTIONS: Installation of up to two wired remote speaker microphone units; medication reminder service; lockbox to open doors for emergency services; multiple-person monitoring at no extra charge; supervised photoelectric detectors (motion detectors) to monitor user activity or lack of activity; "ALOOTH" (Accidentally Left off of the Hook) telephone line restoration filters; wristbands for monitoring movement outside the house. POWER: Uses household current with alternating current (AC) adapter or backup battery (included). The center also monitors battery levels in the console base and emergency responding buttons, and whether the console still has power from the AC adapter.

Notes: Monitoring service fee is $34.95 a month paid monthly, or $29.95 a month paid semi-annually.
