The EARS Emergency Alert & Response System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with disabilities who are at risk for medical emergencies. System equipment includes a lightweight waterproof wireless pendant that can be worn around the neck, clipped to a belt, or worn like a wristwatch, and a system console that can be activated from any room in the house. When the emergency button on the pendant or console is pushed, the user is put in immediate voice communication with a qualified operator. If the user requests help from local emergency services or a neighbor, the operator contacts them and stays on the line until help arrives. Immediately after that, the operator will contact the user's doctor, family, or friends to let them know what has happened. OPTIONS: EARS with Reminders, providing the same service plus the ability to record up to eight reminder messages to be played at predetermined times as medication reminders, appointment reminders, or wake-up calls; extra pendant (standard or EARS with Reminders) and a lock box.
