(Verified 09/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Cubla Security Personal Emergency Response System is a medication reminder and emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with balance or mobility disabilities or who are at risk for falls or other medical emergencies. The system includes a base unit that connects to a telepphone line, and a water resistant pendant that can be worn around the neck or on the wrist. In case of an emergency, the user presses a button on the pendant, and the base unit calls a monitoring center. The pendant will operate within 150 feet from the base unit. The unit can also be programmed to verbally announce when it’s time to take medicine, up to eight times per day. POWER: Uses household alternating current (AC) current with battery backup. WARRANTY: One year manufacturer’s warranty.
Notes: There is a monthly fee for monitoring service, with no contract. Monitoring centers are located in Mississippi and Pensacola, Florida. ** The system uses equipment manufactured by GE Security.
