Picture of ASCENDER 300, ASCENDER 500, & ASCENDER 1000 HIP CHAIR The Ascender 300, Ascender 500, and Ascender 1000 Hip Chairs are geriatric chairs designed for use by individuals with arthritis or lower extremity disabilities. Features include a cradle-style extended headrest, a retractable footrest, a padded armrest, and an adjustable back with four back positions covering a range of approximately 90 to 70 degrees. The chair has interchangeable back and seat cushions of different thicknesses, which can be exchanged to change the seat height. OPTIONS: Leg support attachment. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 44 x 29 x 26.5 inches (Ascender 300), 44 x 29 x 30.5 (Ascender 500), or 44 x 29 x 34.5 inches (Ascender 1000). The seat width is 20 inches (Ascender 300), 24 inches (Ascender 500), or 28 inches (Ascender 1000). The seat height from floor is 23 or 25 inches and the arm height from floor is 33 inches. CAPACITY: 300 pounds (Ascender 300), 500 pounds (Ascender 500), or 1,000 pounds (Ascender 1000).
