(Verified 08/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Fingerprint Door Lock, model M28, is a keyless door lock designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, severe physical, or fine motor disabilities or spinal cord injury. Access is provided by fingerprint recognition. This door lock combines a conventional cylinder lockset with high-precision fingerprint recognition technology. It can store up to 10 fingerprints, and has the ability to delete and enroll individual fingerprints from its memory without the need of a computer link. The unit is available in right- or left-handed models and has a lever door handle. Constructed from durable zinc-alloy metal, this lock is suitable for home or office and requires no hard wiring or complicated door modifications. POWER: Uses standard alkaline double-A batteries and the unit is equipped low-power warning signal. WARRANTY: One year manufacturer's warranty.
