The Amputee Lower Extremity Rehabilitation Exercise Kit is an exercise planning program designed for use by physical therapits who work with individuals with lower extremity amputation. The program presents 122 professionally illustrated exercises for individuals with lower extremity amputation, including post operative exercises and exercises for the upper extremity, sound lower extremity, back and trunk. It includes 26 reproducible full page patient tip sheets dealing with transfers, shrinker fitting, wrapping, residual limb management, and positioning. A Special Tips and Guidelines Booklet covers Exercise Guidelines for the Amputee, Equipment Needs for the Amputee, Exercise Instructions, Residual Limb Management, and Use of Patient Tip Sheets. The program is available in two formats: As a set of reproducible cards, or as a computer exercise database for use with PC-Kits software (not included).
