Picture of ACCVERIFY AccVerify is Web site accessibility evaluation software designed for use by programmers to check the accessibility of Web content to individuals with disabilities. This desktop test management program enables developers to validate Web content for compliance with standards-based and organizational policies for Web accessibility, privacy, content defects, usability, search engine effectiveness, site inventory, and site maintenance. It provides integrated report views and preview modes so users can test their pages for optimal performance under variable end-user scenarios. Results are recorded in History. Sites can be tested for accessibility and usability and include Section 508, Web Content Accessibility Guideliens (WCAG) 1.0, Common Look and Feel (CLF), XTML Accessibility Guidelines (XAG), standard derived from WCAG or Section 508, and custom standards. It can test local files or directories; Web files, directories, and sites; FTP files, directories, and sites; and file lists that are created with File List Builder, a tool bundled with the software. File selection utilities can be automated to perform folder, directory, or site scans, and the program can spider through secure and password-protected sites while maintaining security. COMPAITIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible Windows-based computer systems. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with Service Pack 5, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Vista operating system; 32 megabytes (MB) RAM; 20 MB hard disk space;and VGA or Super VGA monitor.
