The Mountee is a child's tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for use with children with mobility, neurological, or severe physical disabilities. FRAME(LxWxH): Open, model MT12 is 19 x 16 x 22 inches; folded it is 20.5 x 17.5 x 9 inches. Open, model MT14 is 21 x 18.5 x 24 inches. The folding, tilt-in-space frame offers 5 to 45 degrees of tilt from the vertical. Push handles are standard. A crah-tested transit frame is available on both models. SEAT(WxD): Model MT12 is 8 to 12 x 11 to 15 inches. Model MT14 is 8 to 14 x 13 to 17 inches. The floor-to-seat height on model MT12 is 24 inches and 24.5 inches on model MT14. The seat-to-footplate height adjusts from 10 to 16 inches on model MT12 and from 10 to 17 inches on model MT14. The seat back angle is 90 degrees on both models. The seating system can be removed from the frame and features a padded seat and back. Positioning aids include a headrest extension, shoulder straps, a fold-away pommel, lateral supports, and pelvic support. UPHOLSTERY: Padded upholstery in a choice of burgundy or bright raspberry Neoprene or navy blue, ocean blue, raspberry, purple, red or teal Darlex. BRAKES: handbrakes on the push handles. WHEELS: 8-inch rear wheels. CASTERS: 6-inch front casters. FOOTRESTS: Footplates. WEIGHT: The tilt-in-space frame weighs 32 pounds without the front rigging for model MT12 and 33 pounds for model MT14. The seating system weighs 17 pounds for model MT12 and 18.5 pounds for model MT14. CAPACITY: 75 pounds for the standard model MT12 and 66 pounds for the transit model MT12; 100 pounds for model MT14.
