The Panther is a child's tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for children with mobility disabilities. FRAME: Polyester-coated steel frame collapses for transport and storage. The frame is available in three sizes and in a choice of bright raspberry, deep blue, or silver. Rear anti-tippers are standard. Size 1 (WxHxL) is 59 x 87 to 111 x 84 centimeters; size 2 is 62 x 87 to 111 x 92; and size 3 is 67 x 87 to 111 x 100 centimeters. SEAT: Solid seat and back with tilt in space and a low shear reclining back are standard. Height-adjustable push handles are included. Backrest extensions, shoulder retractors, swing-away or fixed lateral supports, pommel, splashboards, H-belts, pelvic belts, abduction belts, abductors, waistcoat harnesses, and cross vests are optional. This chair is available without a seat to accommodate specialized seating systems. UPHOLSTERY: The standard chair has no upholstery; the complete model includes upholstered seat and back cushions. ARMRESTS: Optional. BRAKES: Wheel locks are standard. Drum brakes are optional. CASTERS: A choice of 6-, 7-, or 8-inch solid casters or 8-inch pneumatic casters is standard. Quick-release caster forks are optional. WHEELS: A choice of 20-, 22-, or 24-inch wheels with pneumatic tires and spoke guards is standard; solid tires are extra-cost options. Quick-release axles are standards on wheels without drum brakes. FOOTRESTS: A height- and angle-adjustable footplate is standard. Swing-away knee blocks and footplate straps are optional. OPTIONS: Wood trays, clear plastic trays, thermo bags, rucksacks, and a hooded raincape. WEIGHT: The complete model weighs 35 pounds.
