« Previous Product Next Product »The Storm Series TDX 5 is a powered wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (HxLxW): 33.25 to 41inches (depending on seating system) x 35.25 x 25 inches (26.5 with joystick). This chair includes Stability Lock and SureStep suspension configured for obstacles up to 3 inches high. Finish options include basic colors (deep purple, cobalt blue, anthracite, wet black, red, silver vein, lavender, wet black with twilight sparkle, jeweled green, denim blue, and midnight blue) or candy colors (electric red, electric blue, electric purple, electric teal). CONTROLS: MK5 TT-EX electronic controller and MK5 MPJ driver control. CWD: Center wheel drive with heavy duty True Track motor. SEAT (LxW): 12 to 22 x 12 to 24 inches (each dimension in 1-inch increments) for ASBA seat. An auto-style seat positioning strap is included. Options include a 2G Tarsys powered seating system (models 2GT, 2GTR, or 2GR). ARMRESTS: Full- or desk-length fixed height armrests. CASTERS: Front and trailing casters. WHEELS: 14-inch pneumatic tires. FOOTRESTS: Swingaway 70-degree riggings with composite footplates. OPTIONS: Ventilator tray. POWER: Uses either Group 24 batteries (standard) or three 22NF batteries (optional) to accommodate a ventilator battery. SPEEDS: 7.5 mph maximum. CAPACITY: 400 pounds with ASBA seat, 350 pounds with Tarsys seating system, 300 pounds with Tarsys system and ventilator. WEIGHT: 310 pounds with ASBA seat or 388 pounds with 2GTR Tarsys seating system. WARRANTY: 5-year limited motor warranty.
