  1. SWIFT Swift is a dynamic range compression program designed for use with digital hearing aids. Its dynamic range adjustment algorithm harmonizes the loudness of a signal with the ear's sensitivity. While providing a non-uniformly spaced filter bank structure analogous to natural hearing, Swift also optimizes the ratio between frequency resolution and group delay in order to prevent reverberation.
