Picture of NOTEPAGER 32 & NOTEPAGER PRO Notepager 32 and Notepager Pro are text messaging and paging programs designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Both programs enable users to send SMS (short messaging service) or text messages from a desktop computer to alphanumeric pagers and cell phones. Messages can be sent to an unlimited number of recipients on a single telecom provider or paging carrier. The length of text messages sent to cellular phones can be monitored so the user does not incur any "over" charges. Messages can be sent to cell phones, PCMCIA pager cards, and Nextel, PCS, or digital phones. The Pro version has group messaging capabilities and multiple carrier support for cellular and paging carriers using the SNPP, WCTP, and SMTP Internet paging protocols. It supports scheduled messaging and paging, repeating and pre-programmed messages, on-call paging, and group paging. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers.
