The Serenity Homecare Enclosed Bed System is a bed with enclosure designed to prevent individuals with cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disabilities from leaving the bed without the use of restraints. This freestanding bed has a healthcare quality mattress and soft side rails with an enclosure on all four sides. The ligthweight aluminum frame is padded and the enclosure side, head, and foot panels are made of soft polyester mesh and vinyl, providing security while maintaining air flow and visibility. The unit enables the user to retain full freedom of movement within the bed while preventing unattended exiting. Locking zippers provide caregiver access, and the entire canopy can be removed for easier cleaning. The bed has four casters, two of which can be locked. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 72 x 80 x 30 inches. COLOR: Available with royal blue, mauve, aspen blue, sapphire or pine forest green skirt and borders.
Notes: Manufacturer states that the side rail should only be used when there is an attendant or caregiver present.
