The Pemko Recycled Rubber Ramp Assembly, model RR1.25FMR, is a modular threshold ramp designed for use by individuals with mobility or walking disabilities. It can be used at door thresholds or to transition between offset floors. The ramp has a diamond waffle pattern for traction. It can be field cut and coped, and is installed by gluing it to floor surfaces. The ramp is molded from 100 percent recycled rubber tires (20 mesh minus crumb reclaimed rubber with urethane binders). DIMENSIONS: 36, 48, 60, or 72 inches long. The 36- and 60-inch ramps are supplied as one-piece assemblies; the 48- and 72-inch ramps are supplied as two-piece assemblies.
Notes: The manufacturer states that its recycled rubber ramp assemblies are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant, meet ANSI A117.1-2003, and exceed the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. UL Standard 410 Slip Resistance of Floor Materials. ** The manufacturer recommends using RR200 (T-Rex) to glue rubber ramps to floor surfaces, and states that Liquid Nails must be avoided for use with recycled rubber ramps.
