(Verified 03/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Lightweight Ramp is a portable ramp designed for making small stairways, entrance ways, curbs, vans, or other vehicles accessible to wheelchair users. The ramp consists of two tracks; each track section comes apart for transport and storage. The ramps are constructed of 1.25-inch square steel tubing with 1-inch square side couples; the ramp bed is made of heavy-gauge flattened, expanded metal for a non-skid surface. The ramp lip is made of heavy-gauge steel. OPTIONS: A 12-ounce nylon/polyester vinyl-coated carrying and storage case with velcro closure and 2-inch nylon straps available for $59.95. DIMENSIONS: Model WC079M-52 is 6 feet long (4 pieces); model WC080M-52 is 9 feet long (6 pieces). Inside width of the ramps is 6.75 inches, with an edge rise of 1.25 inches. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: The 6-foot ramp is 49 pounds; the 9-foot ramp is 72 pounds.

Notes: Not designed for use with three-wheeled mobility aids and scooters. ** Both models can be shipped by United Parcel Service (UPS).
