(Verified 6/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Pick 'N Stick on Disk is a symbolic picture library designed to provide images for communication boards for individuals with speech and communication disabilities. Because it is a clip art library and not a program, the images are designed to be easily imported into major word-processing, publishing and draw/paint programs to give lots of flexibility. Images can be altered by changing size or color, adding words, or any customization the user desires. Images are provided in a PICT format for Macintosh users and Tiff for PC users. The disks and folders are organized by subject to make finding images easy. Subjects include: people, feelings, food, clothes, school, common activities, emergency, health, work and more. Images are available in color or in black and white. COMPATIBILITY: Available for Macintosh or PC. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Mac, DOS or windows program (word processing, publishing, draw/paint) that accepts PICT or TIFF graphics and supports 256 colors or grays. Mac Classic or above with a monitor capable of displaying 256 colors or grays. With System 6.0.7 or above at least 2 MB RAM with 4 MB preferred. WIth System 7, 4 MB minimum. IBM or compatible 386 or above with monitor and display card that supports 256 colors or grays (at least EVGA). At least 1 MB RAM with 4 MB preferred. DOS 3.3 or higher or DOS 6.x and Windows3.1 or higher (needs at least 4 MB RAM).

Notes: Upgrades to Version 1.1 from 1.0 are available. Contact manufacturer for more information. ** Combination offers (color and black and white) are also available.
