Picture of CAPTION MIC LIVE EVENT Caption Mic Live Event is a captioning system designed for use with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This system is intended for use at presentations, lectures, ceremonies, speeches. Open captions are displayed on a television monitor or video projector while closed captions are recorded on videotape (television monitor, video projector, videotape recorder not included). This system produces the captions using speech recognition technology. A voice captioner echoes what is presented and the resulting captions are displayed on the laptop computer. Features include real-time captioning by voice, simultaneous open and closed captioning, and available text transcription. The package includes Caption Mic software, a custom-configured laptop computer, Insertacap caption encoder, cables, and a mask microphone. OPTIONS: Spanish captioning, headset microphone, additional mask microphone, Caption Pac foam lined carrying case, Caption Wrap post production software, CCTV video camera, and tripod.
